He should probably mention that he is the TVD version of Jon Snow right about now, but he's not.]

Why were you going to Atlanta? I wasn't going with you?

[She was supposed to be adjusting?!?!?!]

Because the Travelers have you. Or ... wait. If you were here -- how are you also there?

[Her hand goes up to her forehead.] You can't be in two places at once... well, you can, but -- not you-you.

[There's a pause. Then a blink. Then ... ]

What are Travelers?

[That should ... answer a lot of your questions.]

Huh? [Caroline is really confused and she's trying to sort through it, but it doesn't make sense.]

Travelers? The whole... mojo witchy-ish people that borrow bodies to survive? Why don't you remember them? What do you remember?

[He pauses, hesitant, before ... ]

The last thing I remember is Mason Lockwood attacking us in the woods.

MASON LOCKWOOD????? [She stops, realizing how loud she just was and shuts her mouth quickly. Her hands press together, moving to touch to her mouth as she thinks about this.]

Seriously? That's the last thing you remember was Mason?

[He nods a bit.]

But Elena's been filling me in on some of it, like Klaus and the sacrifice. He's here, by the way.

[A beat.]

Klaus, not Mason.

[vampirebarbie]

Klaus is here? [oh this is not good at all.]

Don't trust Klaus about anything.

Considering he lied and told me he was his brother, Elijah? Yeah, I've already got that part down.

[There's a pause.]

Elena and Damon are here too - Damon's from before you became a vampire.

[vampirebarbie]

What is with it here? Is everyone from the past? How is this even working? [She's getting a headache.]

[He gives a bit of a shrug.]

Elena is from after we broke up.

[At least he assumes they broke up and he didn't just run off into the sunset with Klaus to be a blood junky and come back to have his emotions compelled away. He doesn't realize that Elena actually does dump him ... after she becomes a vampire.]

She said she was about six months or so ahead of me.

[vampirebarbie]

[She almost wants to ask which time, but the time frame helps out. It's still just weird.]

[He gives a bit of a shrug.]

We're taking it one information bomb at a time.

[He glances up to her.]

Oh, I'm fine. I can totally adapt to this. I mean, it's better than what I was supposed to do in Atlanta... which I'm not going to explain.

I mean, you're the one here, from the past, with an Elena from the future - the future where you're not together, plus Damon from way before and then add in Klaus?

You're not feeding are you?

[He frowns at her.]

Is there something I should be worried about?

[vampirebarbie]

What? [RETREAT! RETREAT!]

No. Nothing at all. I mean, we're here. It's not like it all carries over or something.

[somanyadjectives]

[Stefan is ... squinting, trying to read between the lines and figure out what Caroline isn't telling him, because he doesn't have a damn clue.]

Uh-huh.

[there's a pause.]

At least one of the bonuses of being here is that Klaus isn't quite as unkillable as he was back home. If he causes a problem we should be able to stop him.

[vampirebarbie]

[Caroline is very pleased to think about this.] Really?

That's something at least.

[He nods.]

I don't know if that whole killing him kills the entire line thing is still in effect, though.

[vampirebarbie]

We were planning on curing him, and if he wasn't a vampire anymore, then he wouldn't have held our lineage.

Curing?

[ .... what?]

What do you mean, curing him?

[vampirebarbie]

It was this whole thing that we spent way too much time looking for and there were a lot of complications and then we had this vial of something that was supposed to cure a vampire so that they could die.

Not... [Wait, this means she'll have to explain Silas.]

Not like how we would die, but there's this immortal vampire. Like the most crazy dude - Silas. He can't die, so he wants to become human so he can die and then be reunited with his love and it's this whole thing that goes Horribly. Horribly. Wrong. Like - well, like most things.

He doesn't get the cure first. Katherine has it and then Elijah has it and then you have it and you give it to Elena, but she forces it on Katherine.

[A beat.]

I can stop. Like if this is too much... I can totally just stick to college and boring things about how Tyler and I broke up and how I'm totally your best friend.

[somanyadjectives]

[There's a big super duper long pause as he tries to process all of that and really, he just wants to talk about all the boring stuff because it's so much easier, but even that's kind of confusing because ... ]

Wait, I thought you were into Matt?

[Wow his head really hurts.]

That was a long time ago and when you're a vampire lying to your vampire hating boyfriend and then he figures it out and is on vervain and makes you compel him to forget and then fakes it and reports everything to my mom? It kind of makes it difficult to establish a relationship.
